Julie Farabaugh
I’ve spent my entire career in service-driven, high-pressure environments — the kind where you either learn to lead or you get swallowed whole. Over ten years ago, I started in restaurants, working my way through every role, eventually running both front- and back-of-house operations. I became the person people turned to when something needed fixing, when a shift went sideways, or when the team needed someone steady in the chaos.
That foundation shaped everything I’ve done since. When I transitioned into the cannabis industry, those same instincts — clear communication, quick learning, problem-solving under pressure, and building trust fast — pushed me from Brand Ambassador to Senior Market Manager overseeing multiple states.
But the heart of Cedar & Sage took shape at a small local diner where I worked weekends. The owners were new, the systems were nonexistent, and the operation needed structure. Helping them build something stable — while supporting friends and regulars who ran their own small businesses — showed me just how much weight small operators carry. Many of them talked openly about the pressure of bidding, communicating with clients, staying organized, and trying to keep projects moving with limited support. They didn’t need a full-time hire; they needed practical, flexible, and reliable support.
That’s why I founded Cedar & Sage.
I’m practical, straightforward, and results-driven. I don’t waste time, and I don’t make empty promises. I built this business for the people who keep everything moving — the contractors, builders, tradespeople, and hands-on owners who rarely have the support they deserve.
