Cedar & Sage
Cedar & Sage Solutions was built around a truth many hands-on small business owners know well: the work it takes to keep things moving behind-the-scenes can feel just as heavy as the work itself — and with the right support, that weight becomes momentum instead of distraction.
We were created to provide practical, flexible support that fits the way you already run your business — without the overhead or long-term commitment of a full-time hire. Just thoughtful support that puts your time back where it matters most.
When workflows pile up, deadlines tighten, or communication starts to slip, we steady your work by organizing it and reinforcing the systems you already trust. Support is designed to feel clear, familiar, and usable from day one, so your focus stays on the work that earns, builds, and moves your business forward.
We strengthen momentum at every stage, stepping in when things start to feel too heavy or too fast for a small team to carry alone — from early coordination and planning, to ongoing execution, deliverables, and client care that needs structure and dependable follow-through. We bring thoughtful execution and practical, real-world ideas that keep communication clear, expectations aligned, and initiatives rooted in what actually drives results. And when the load gets scattered or overwhelming, we carry it just long enough to restore balance — then hand it back clearer, lighter, and moving forward again with confidence.
As a woman-owned consultancy, our reputation is earned the same way yours is: show up, do good work, and finish strong.
The moments we’re proudest of are the turning points that once felt just out of reach — the moment an owner feels the load lift, the path open and their momentum return.
Strong businesses don’t need heavier solutions. They need the right support — delivered at the right size, at the right time.
Our Founder:
Julie Farabaugh
I’ve spent my entire career in service-driven, high-pressure environments — the kind where operations break down quickly if leadership, communication, and follow-through aren’t strong. Over ten years ago, I started in restaurants, working my way through every role and eventually running both front- and back-of-house operations. Managing constant deadlines, tight margins, shifting priorities, and teams under pressure taught me how to keep complex, fast-moving work organized and moving forward.
That foundation is directly aligned with the realities small business owners face every day. Coordinating people, schedules, materials, clients, and deadlines — while putting out fires as they arise — requires steady leadership and practical systems.
When I transitioned into the cannabis industry, those same skills carried over seamlessly. Clear communication, rapid problem-solving, and operational discipline pushed me from Brand Ambassador to Senior Market Manager overseeing multiple states. The environment changed, but the work stayed the same: managing growth, maintaining consistency, and keeping execution tight under pressure.
The heart of Cedar & Sage took shape at a small local diner where I worked weekends. The owners were new, the systems were nonexistent, and the operation needed structure. Helping them build something stable — while supporting friends and regulars who ran their own small businesses — showed me just how much weight small operators carry. Many talked openly about the pressure of staying organized, managing clients, keeping work moving, and doing it all without reliable support. They didn’t need a full-time hire. They needed practical, flexible partnership — someone who could step in, create structure, and keep things moving without changing how they worked.
That’s why I founded Cedar & Sage.
I’m practical, straightforward, and results-driven. I don’t waste time or make empty promises. I built this business for the people who keep everything moving — the hands-on owners who carry a lot, lead from the front, and rarely have the support they deserve.
If you work hard, lead with integrity, and need a partner who can steady the pace and strengthen the process, you’re exactly who I built this for.
