Support Retainers

How Support is Structured

Project management and operational support - scaled by involvement, not scope.

Cedar & Sage support is built around how work actually moves through a business. That means helping manage opportunities as they come in, keeping active work organized and moving forward, strengthening the systems that support day-to-day operations, and taking care of the important updates that tend to fall behind. Every engagement draws from these same areas — what changes from one level to the next is how deeply we’re involved, based on workload, pace, and priorities.

Support is designed to meet you where you are, whether you need steady involvement to bring structure to your day-to-day operations or deeper partnership to help manage growing workloads and shifting demands.

Choosing the Right Level of Support

The right level of support depends on your workload and pace — not a checklist of services. Things like the number of active projects, how many moving pieces are in play, and how much coordination or follow-through you want handled all factor into the decision.

If you’re unsure where you fit, that’s normal. We’ll talk through your workload and help determine the level of support that makes the most sense.

Foundations Retainer

Get organized. Get confident. Get moving.

The Foundations Retainer offers light, consistent support across every core service area — opportunity pipelines, project coordination, operational cleanup, and the back-burner items that tend to pile up. The focus is on establishing reliable structure, bringing clarity to daily workflows, and creating a steadier way of operating without overwhelming the business or changing its natural pace.

This level of support sets the groundwork for smoother operations, steadier communication, and a more manageable workload.

Best Fit: For businesses that need clearer structure, reduced friction, and a manageable layer of weekly involvement to steady day-to-day operations without changing your natural pace.

Investment: ~$250 – $800 per week
(approximately 3–8 hours of weekly involvement)

Growth Retainer

Build momentum with steady operational support.

The Growth Retainer increases involvement across core service areas to support businesses taking on more work and feeling the pressure of overlapping priorities. This level provides a steadier rhythm of coordination, clearer internal communication, stronger follow-through around project activity, and ongoing operational refinement.

As involvement deepens, your business gains the structure and consistency needed to support a busier schedule with confidence and control. Systems become more reliable, work maintains better continuity, and fewer details slip through handoffs.

Best Fit: For businesses with increasing workload, where consistent coordination and follow-through are becoming critical to keeping work organized and moving smoothly.

Investment: ~$850 – $1,750 per week
(approximately 9–15 hours of weekly involvement)

Leadership Retainer

Your fractional operations partner — full-cycle and dialed-in.

The Leadership Retainer provides the deepest level of involvement and the highest degree of operational partnership. Support spans the full workflow, including opportunity pipeline oversight, work-in-progress coordination, system and process development, and consistent operational follow-through across the business.

At this level, Cedar & Sage functions as an embedded operational partner — providing steady oversight, cross-team alignment, and hands-on support to keep work organized, decisions moving forward, and operations running with consistency and control.

Best Fit: For businesses that need deeper operational involvement, support across multiple active workstreams, and consistent oversight to strengthen alignment, stability, and momentum.

Investment: ~$1,750 – $3,200 per week
(approximately 16–25 hours of weekly involvement)

On-Demand Assistance

Short-term support for specific needs or projects.

On-Demand Assistance provides focused help during busy periods or transitions. Engagements may include short-term coordination support, operational cleanup, completion of deferred tasks, or assistance with a defined priority.

This option is designed for concentrated help during high-volume periods rather than an ongoing partnership, and is offered based on availability.

Rate: $95 – $125 per hour
(quoted per task or short-term project)
